Managed to get it booked in for re-test this morning! All passed and good to go. Hate to think how much it would have cost if I wasn't able to do the work myself (the parts needed came to £300 alone (needed a new rear calliper and a few other bits also!).

Changed the cat today. No wonder it failed, someone had completely gutted the old one!

Yea I took it for a proper run before hand, and the tester was running it for 30 mins odd trying to get some heat in the cat!

Well it failed again, on pretty much the same readings! New cat it is!

As far a I knoweth cat is original. Don't think it's that though as it passed everything but CO

Haha if only you could still get away with that! I'm going to change the plugs then see if I can get it nice and warm before testing. Stupid question but what causes a high CO reading?

Any ideas what is different with the cup shafts/why they are different to non Cup?

Got round to doing it today. Ended up using both the Megs and the SRP (used the Megs for any big scuffs/scratches). Came out pretty well I think!

Not that (unless the other one has been spliced into the loom) as the pressure switch is still connected!

Having a poke around in the engine bay at lunch (172 Cup) and found the below sensor not connected to anything: Comes out of the loom by the alternator and possibly looks like it should be connected here: Any ideas what it is and what it should be connected to? I'm guessing oil temp/pressure.

Why not ditch the HU and go through an amp? I've done similar on my mx5 using an inline volume control and connecting direct to my iPhone!

I'm looking at buying a pair of tyres this week, i've narrowed my choice down to: PZero Nero PS3 RSR All are pretty much the same price fitted, what would you recommend for daily duty (approx 12k pa) with a few trackdays a year thrown in. I'm not sure if I would end up killing the road tyres...
