Managed to get it booked in for re-test this morning! All passed and good to go.
Hate to think how much it would have cost if I wasn't able to do the work myself (the parts needed came to £300 alone (needed a new rear calliper and a few other bits also!).
Haha if only you could still get away with that!
I'm going to change the plugs then see if I can get it nice and warm before testing.
Stupid question but what causes a high CO reading?
Afternoon!
My Clio failed MOT today on emissions (amongst a few other small bits).

I'm off to Wales at the weekend, so I think I might give it another wash towards the end of the week and apply another coating of the EGP!

Just been given a few bottles of AG for free, so wondering what's best to use (I'm looking for longevity of finish over super show n shine spec paint as it's my daily).
So options are, for polish :

Out of interest, would knackered rear shocks cause what feels like bump steer when changing lanes (dual carriageway near me is rutted a bit in the middle!)
Big old bump!! Does the scenic shifter also give a longer throw (hence the need for the yanoo kit)? Or is the yanoo kit to stiffen it all up nicely aswel!
I'm looking at buying a pair of tyres this week, i've narrowed my choice down to:
PZero Nero
PS3
RSR
All are pretty much the same price fitted, what would you recommend for daily duty (approx 12k pa) with a few trackdays a year thrown in. I'm not sure if I would end up killing the road tyres...
