Not the best idea to powder coat and fit tyres on the same day, is it? Better to give them a bit of time to 'cure'? Is what I heard.
Buy a set of s**t wheels, run them for a week and get it done properly. IMO.
My car cover cost ~£150 and I still expect paintwork damage.
If yours was sub £50 I would say damage is inevitable.
Treat yourself to a professional detail annually and it'll be ok :)
From a South Central point of view, I'm not too fussed on whether places like Gloucestershire or Dorset fall into South West or South Central, it shouldn't really matter as people will just head for their nearest meet, but if South Central does grow to include those new places then it will need...
If you're going to sub-divide a region perhaps it's worth suggesting some towns/locations where regular meets might take place?
It's all well & good saying Dorset & Somerset should be a sub-region, but take a look on a map and see just how many miles that covers from one corner to the other.
Sunglasses_Ron I appreciate I'm probably asking too much but is there any scope to create completely new regions? For example, west Dorset could be classed as South West or South Central but doesn't fit well in either.
In my opinion South Central is easily divided into 2 areas:
Coastal - Portsmouth/Southampton/Bournemouth
M3/M4 - Reading/Bracknell/Basingstoke
Although I'm not sure where Oxford & Banbury fit in. Perhaps a third area is required? South Central (north)?
Brakes look a bit beefier than the standard affairs, although I think I'd have gone gloss black or silver. Do you have any pictures of the entire profile of the car?
Fair enough then, all credit to FW!
Not sure I can take a monster drinking session without a full stomach - it doesn't end well. Must be something to do with my age, and I thought you were older than me FW... Obviously you're just more hardcore ;)
A barn conversion for 20 sounds good but no...
Great idea RDR, I'm positively interested. Kick off the evening with a boozy dinner?
Are there any other accommodation options? Something like a serviced apartment, a rental house, or even a dorm-style room? Say there are 20 people, all of whom are going to be smashed to pieces, who cares...
