the bottom parts do lift up and fold forward mate. get your hand down the back where the two parts meet and give them a good yank.

impact driver or a centre punch to knock them round. they dont really serve much of a purpose so no need to replace them, the wheel holds them on.

My dad had to fix an audi where the cambelt had snapped. the man was just creeping along in traffic when it happened. was about 10k miles off from being due aswell.

Just dive in there yourself and have a good look around make sure that things are not loose and there is nothing leaking anywhere. Make sure it has enough oil and coolant too. If you cant find it then take it to the garage.:)

gocompare was the best insurcance comparison for me. then i tried bell on there own which got me the cheapest quote ive had so far. confused was crap.
