i was going to use that excuse but i cant really say that anymore as my car looks completley different to when i bought it.. lol lucky you i have to wait for mine until next july.. :(
yeah i supose its alright but for a 1.2 its rediculous!... insurance companies are laughing :( :(
yeah if you stick you factory standard things no point in declaring really... if anything happens just say it came like that lol
am at uni too, and am 18, paying £150 a month for insurance, got some coilies, got splitter, brand new rims, got some lights, some HIDs, about £30 petrol every week, RS grille, diy spray colour coding jobby, sport rear bumper lol and i have many many more mods planned too..
get a job? that...
that 197 clio looks well odd... looks like its put on weight.. lol kinda reminds me of a remote control toy car replica with big wheels and realy high lol
its an obvious photoshop without a doubt.. how can you be so blind would renault even attempt to make a design thats as crappy as that! i mean look at the air vent and the front bumper, all i can say to that is WTF!!
bras a marmite, am getting one though to complete the look of my car...
get the bump strip colour coded... ive took my plate off ages ago when it wasnt colour coded and it looks crap, took it out bought some spray paints and filler to fill out the holes and bingo, looks great! not bad for some...
shut up you fool is that you jack? lol if it is then, he is the guy who was fixing my car lads lol
edit: actually sorry thats not you jack,,, you drive the same mk astra though so i thought it was my mate.. lol
lol
^ yeah am going to clean the throttle body when i get chance and change the oil soon :)
btw me and my friend did it and hes a mechanic, he was saying if i took it to renault it woulda cost me around £800?!?! is that correct?? it sounds rediculous!!
not bad at all, be careful though, them colour coded front bumper bits wont last two minutes with an army of suicide bombing flies... ive colour coded mine and its been bombarded with lumps and bumps from where all the flies have been.. oh and btw, dont get too carried away with colour coding...
haha i thought about that but i didnt want to risk it as the peice of cloth will probably would of got sucked in... i have an flexible feed pipe under the bonnet so i kinda blocked the hole abit with outside of the pipe so no large bits couldve got in
i had no choice!!! :( its all fixed now.. i drove home sensibly.. but it sounded good.. :rasp: i was only 10 mins drive away from my friends house... id look like a tit carrying a random air filter wondering around..
psml.. am going to clean all the shite out later... i drove home without a filter and the car felt IMMENSE...for a 1.2.. but unfortuntly the big cone has now gone back on..
FINALLY! the cars done! and it was the rag thats got stuck in.... the engine light is still on but i wil get the garage to clear the codes and reset the car... pics will follow for all you guys who are dying to laugh.. lol
am not faulting it!!! am just saying if the weather was good n all the pics would've looked something like these
