i think there are like long rods that go inside to the spark plugs... these wires are the only obstruction i reckon to removing the whole plenum and to looking inside
just wondering should the coil pack plugs come out just by pulling? i found it extremely difficult to pull them out... is there a technique or release mechanism to get the buggers out?
thanks f0xy and everyone whos helped, ok then the reason am asking we couldnt get into the back because its virtually impossible, and because we didnt remove the cover completey we couldnt see anything.. well hardly anyway.. so if your right, if i remove the plenum completley then wollah! it...
so its underneath the manifold cover then? underneath that place where the wires are attached on the cover? i was trying to get to it hence why i made a thread on the discussion board :)
i found a small guide but its not detailed enough for me to find where it is!

thanks for the replies, ive looked inside theres nothing in there but another hole.. we couldnt completley remove the plenum because the coilpack wires were holding it down, but as far as we could tell it wasnt in that chambre, the TB wasnt in there too...
no am not local mate, btw is the TB at the back where the ECU wires are?? bear in mind this is a 1.2 engine we're talking about. people say its near the inlet manifold, then its near the induction/air filter area... am so confused
Alright lads, where is the throttle body located on a clio 1.2 engine?
i have a pic of the engine can some1 draw arrows or explain where abouts it is on the picture?? would be much appreciated! thanks
well theres a guy i know whos 19 who owns a liquid yellow V6.. beat that ner ner :rasp:
who cares anyway?? if there wasnt such thing as insurance i think everyone who can save up can get one..
yeah mate, the spray was basically a dirt trap spray... sticks to grease and that... yeah its most likley to be wedged there, i just need confirmation where its directly located as people saying its there and there...

thanks very much mate, so basically its near the induction? or is it underneath the inlet manifold once removed? ive been trying to take it apart but we cant seem to take the manifold/plenum off...
how do you remove the coils? i think the wires are stopping me from removing it.
thanks matey :) i un did all the bolts today but i cant seem to yank it off... it was coming off but didnt come off completley... i dont know whats holding it!
