a couple of us was talking about this in another thread, i dint try it though,, i think i recall that the plastic the material is stuck to is plastic welded onto the door card. someone did mention just using fabric glue, covering the old piece in the new piece then use a blunt knife of a flat...
nice, ill fit it for you mate if you need a hand. dont get a decat system though as i dont think its worth the effort of putting a cat on every year for the MOT.
what colour is your car? the shine is brought up by the polishing stage, try a heavier cut to bring up the shine, followed but srp to fill any inperfections, then egp as a sealant, then a wax on top
put the coaxials in the back and then get components and a decent amp for the front imo, but this obviosly depends on how much you want to spend.
2thumbs: what do mdf baffles do? give the speaker a more secure mounting rather than the flimsy plastic door card?
there is a group buy on HID's at the moment in the for sale section i think, take a look at that, or go on ebay and just get xenon look bulbs which will be whiter than standard, about £10.00, but not in the same league to HID's
they are coaxials so if you put them in the front they may sound a bit odd as the tweeter will be too low down. components have a seperate tweeter so you can mount it wherever you like. for a nice sounding system i would reccomend a sub, doesnt need to be huge, just an 8" or 10".
i had a white L-reg, 74k one, heater didnt work properly and the button on the remote central locking didnt work properly, i got £900 for it last november, guy was a bit of a plonker though so id say yours is worth £1000 minimum easily with that mileage
for the price you would pay to get it done by a pro you could do it yourself, aslong as you read up on some tips before you start. just use a fine polish to start with and go from there. a little bit of practice and you will be ok with it. IMO
you can get white xenon led 501 sidelight bulbs from ebay
then you can also get xenon look white bulbs from ebay too but if you want them decent you will have to get HID's or xenon headlights.
£900-£1200
looks mint but depends on whether the belts have been done, clutch, gearbox, and also the heating is expensive to replace if it isn't working
