i had to paint some iron gates with hammerite but the gold colour was too bright so i mixed it up with a splash of silver and it worked fine! just make sure you make up enough first other wise it is hard to get the same colour again.
i redone my brakes today with hammerite. top marks as always!
i redone mine today so they look fresh for trax. cleaned up and used some 800 grit on them to get them smooth. the pressure washer doesnt cause mine to flake, never had a problem with hammerite.
well im there some weeks havent been for a few weeks though recently
heres my car if you see me there http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=353949

was at work today having lunch and looking at my car i thinks its a bit boring just being all silver and black so i want to add a touch of colour somewhere.

... well then on the wires you are going to be using. id there any wires saying amp or rem or remote. or lone blue wires with noting on the end.
if yes then it will be that if no then you will need a wiring diagram or someone who has a chinese hedunit with that wiring to tell you if they have...
yes mate its just sound insulation i think. i think its when the engine moves slightly so would rub on the painted cover. a lot of people remove it.
as for the brush marks on the hammerite. could you not just apply it quite think then use a fine grade and wetsand it down smooth. then just a...
look in the manual for your headunit there should be a wiring diagram showing your leads that you have there and one will say rem or remote turn on or amp 0.3 maybe. that is the one you have to connect it to either by a connector block, crimp or soldering.
would help mate if you unravvled the one on the right as we cant see whats on the other end. the remote turn on lead and the rca leads for you amp should come in your wiring kit which you will need to buy to wire in your amp.
there is just plugs mate it is not hard. none of them are the same so if it fits in the hole it is the right plug. should be one into the back of the headunit then the wires should split into two bunched groups and there will be one group for power and one for speakers i think. these are like...
have you taken off the sound deadening/ heat insulation stuff from the underside of the bonnet? ive heard that it rubs on the engine cover and destroys your cover once it is painted.
my first car is what i have now mate. i havent bothered spending no money on engine modifications as it would result in no substantial gains. make it look good then stick with it for a year or 2. put you money somewhere else and get some ncb and some experience as previously stated. then you can...
