you said 2 of your head unit channels are powering your amp? pre-amp outputs are what they are called. they are an output before the signall has been amplified by the headunit.
so atm you still have 4 channels on your headunit and an extra 2 on your amp which i assume are bridged to run your...
there is no need to take the caliper off mate as it is easy enough with a brush. if you do though you will need to bleed the brake fluid once you put the caliper back on.
how many watts are the amps? then someone will be able to tell you what cable size you need.
what you need to do though is run one fat power cable down from the battery to the boot. then you use a distribution block to split the power to the two amps.
