cheers for the replies guys im going to try and take the cap off and ill cut it down wich will save buying a new one. what did you think of the reception after you cut it down and is it just like a piece of metal inside?

Hello i want to changed my aerial on my clio mk2 ph1 because the standard one is about 2 meters long! ive seen loads of pictures of ph2s with the aerial changed but not ph1! can anyone reccomend one for me?

yeh i think they are held on with pins going through the panel so if you take them off you will be left with two holes which you could get smoothed or just leave or put the badge back in. Can anyone confirm this?

There is loads of cheap mods you can do and make your car look great! debadge silvervisions led side lights xenons interior lights new plates colour coding splitter cleaning!!!

yeh the xenons ones are road legal they are coloured blue on the bulb but they just look white when they are on. i got some for mine like that they make a lot of difference to driving at night!!!!

my mate has an aux input on the back of his standard hu its a mk2 ph2 so he has a wire running to the glovebox so he can play his ipod or mp3 player. because its just a aux lead you have to change tracks on the ipod and not on the stereo.

my dad got me some tfr off a local car wash which definatly strips all the wax off the car its good to use once but as soon as you put wax on the car steer clear of it because it is just striping all the wax you went to the effort of putting on!!

hi i need to replace my boot light in my mk2 ph1. ive heard that its 36mm festoon in the phase 2 but can someone clarify that its the same in the phase 1. also what could anyone recomend 6 LED or 9 LED thanks a lot
