Here we go, new engine v old engine...despite starting at the exact same point with the lines tracing each other for the first few thousand RPM, the new engine starts to move ahead as the revs increase. I'm happy enough with that!

I can relate to this. When telling someone I'd not met before about my car history yesterday I waxed lyrical about the RS, my ST, and my 172 Cup, and gave my Ignis Sport a notable thumbs up. Then when I finished I realised I'd completely forgotten to mention the 200 I'd done 24,000 miles in.

I was trying out a new microphone and had no idea just how well it would capture the audio of those beasts! It sounds so good I think the GT40s and the sound they make deserve a video all on their own... It's worth the effort if you ever get a chance to attend...zero crowds and full access...
