If you weren't so far away and my Focus' arrival wasn't imminent I'd have this and sack the i10 off. Based on the delays I've had so far I'll probably regret not making the trip!
It was only when editing the footage that I paid any attention to the sidewall markings...65 profiles!
I remember when growing up that 60s were considered low profile...and my RS will come with 35s LOL
Yup. Found a proper enthusiast who appreciated the care I'd taken of it and the full history it came with. I got £8,400 in the end...which makes me wince a little...but seeing as his was the ONLY call I took on it in three weeks I think I did quite well.
Despite the law being that hire cars should be relentlessly abused I haven't...it's kind of pointless...it has no front end, acres of soft sidewalls, and so much body roll...door handles and mirrors could touch down easily! taking it for what it is though and it's a very fine thing.
With my Fiesta ST gone, my Focus RS currently somewhere unkown en route to my dealer, and with nothing but a hire car to entertain I took a critical look at Hyundai's shoebox.
Oddly I'm quite enjoying it!
I know! It's flown by.
I struggled to come up with the negatives...for me it's a hard car to fault in any way.
He commented "Nice car!" when I walked back to it so we got chatting, mostly about his patrol car though.
You're the first person I've come across that also likes a longer throttle.
Just about every RS owner says they like the sharper response of 'Sport'...but I prefer having the longer throttle you get in 'Normal'. Makes it easier to modulate.
Apart from the last ten words that was exactly what I was about to write.
The main reason I have them is to determine blame. It's rare I put anything up online from my cameras...unless there's something to learn from it.
I've no idea!
I did toy with that exact idea myself for a while when I had my 172 Cup...but back when I had the Cup my camera was a heavy Sony tape camcorder so I ended up sticking with the headrest strut mount.
I kept meaning to ask what was beneath there but never got around to it.
Nice, best colour by far! Needs the spoiler to finish it off IMO.
Exactly this...standard seats don't earn you internet cool pointz but they're more than adequate and you get no bolster wear. Also it's such a shame that Renault cover the steering wheels in layers of leather with the resilience...
Here's how wet the wet day I had at Llandow on the AD08s was...proper torrential rain...and apart from being a little greedy on the throttle when ploughing through a standing water lake they dispersed the water well enough all day long!
