People are completely overpricing this job. i bought my old 172 with a slipped belt. £150 for a head £100 for the belt change gaskets and a few other bits. £50 oil and filter. pop the engine back in. then enjoy again

I can see why you'd prefer a racing puma, much more unique and special.

People comparing spacers on a cup race car, to a road car. The difference is; a track is smooth, doesn't rise in the middle, and no pot holes. Spacers are always a bad idea on a road car

your mpg is so poor probably because the cars not even having a chance to warm up properly. It probably needs a good clear out/loosen up from doing such minimal mileage. The mpg would soon creep up after a few long stretches. this is when buying low mileage cars is a put off, when chances are...

Yes, it does use more fuel than the 172 did. But all and only IMO, it does everything better. Nicer place to be, bigger car etc. so to be the same pace as a 1*2 and it being heavier, I'm happy. I loved my 172, so if this has to use a bit more fuel to get itself going, I don't mind. i can get...

They're odd engines lol. i did a trip to Manchester recently. and back, motorway all the way up and B roads home, don't think it went under 33 on that run lol. I'm always sat at 70 on cruise if on the motorway.

Mine is on 32.5 at current. Over 70 miles of B roads and duals. Can get it up more. Better than my brothers corsa vxr and my mates S on fuel.
