Well you should as it only takes a small 'spike' (static off you/carpets etc) to deploy the airbags/pre-tentioners. Disconnect, and leave for a good half hour before you start.

This usually happens if the wheels get refurbed/repainted. The holes on the alloys that the bolts go into should have no paint where the taper of the bolt sits.

Yours had the recall then ;) The connectors make bad connections on the airbag circuit, causing the light to come on if the seat was ragged back. The connectors were cut off, then the wires soldered up Yup, just tape it up out the way. I believe its to disable the airbag if your sat far too...

That was another reason i ditched them i'm afraid........

Wouldnt bother. I tried a few years ago. The only way to do it is to crush/mishape the pipe work, which imo defeats the object........

If you were not arsed about the auto levelling and headlamp wash, they do bolt straight in and work............. Lots of non sports owners do this. You will dazzle other drivers though lol!!

Some better pics of said seats fitted in my old cup Tbh they are a good improvement over standard, but they looked a bit cheap (in the fabric i had) and i hated the subframes (fussy b*****d lol) These were better ;)

They look unfinished around the sub frames. If your after the o.e look, forget it with Cobra. Been there, done that...............

Dont bother. they are w**k. They are a generic filter like the viper. They have a smaller filter area than standard, and also a smaller more restictive inlet. Cheap plop imo. Just pop in a panel filter, or go for a Maxogen
