Fred,
Yeah Roger sorted it out. My FK dont have adjustable camber like yours. Yours was slotted on the top bolt and mine on teh bottom so hardly any room for adjustment due to the positioning.
Went back to Performance Driven in Taunton who fitted coilovers (spot on by the way) and...
Lowering makes you run more negative camber than is needed.
Last March I had FK Automotive coilovers fitted and it was only when I went for new front tyres in December that they said the camber was way out. Insides of the tyres were well scrubbed and they arent seen.
Turns out you need to...
Its that good someone is selling it. If I like anything I tend to keep it.
Reminds me of the 172 on ebay with "mantex" superchip and 200bhp. So good the owner was selling it after only 2000 miles of ownership.
Yeah has to be a dastec place. Chip is only as good as the place tuning it. If not done properly could knacker your engine or not get the most out of it.
Set up probably 1 - 2 hours on RR.
Probably 100-200 quid less than retail but main thing with these chips is to get set up on a RR as set up specifically to the car its on. Dont just bolt it on and use it. Would work out cheaper and a good buy so long as someone can tune it to your car for you.
Clutch is about £60 for standard valeo unit. Hillpower says that is good enough.
Labour quoted anythingfrom 6 to 12 hours depending if it is engine out (12 hours) or working underneath/taking subframe out or whatever.
Gor mine done by my local mechanic for £150 cash in hand and got the...
Metal polish like autoglym does is fine. I would even use spray stuff you can get for stainless steel sinks, hobs etc first as that can be sprayed on and wiped off after a while.
Use metal polish after.
Found mine kicks in at 3.5 after having a chip fitted. Drivability is much improved too. Unless its been rrd you may not know if you have one or not, although rev limiter should give that away.
If its pulling like that as standard its a good engine.
Happened to me in London. Had a 12" record in boot and that was used as a guide. Record fit in hole and was a good 4-5" deep.
Got quote for a new tyre (most expensive I could) and new Phase 2 alloy of Renault (£180). After many weeks of going through the council, their contractors for roads...
Any alarms is only a deterrant. If some1 wants to break in they will do and just disable the alarm in someway for stealing the car or grab whatever they want with the alarm sounding.
My car came with a Toad fitted, Thatcham One and still got broken into. Doubt they could drive teh car...
Any programmable chip is gonna be worth it as set to the car not some variable that it is thought all cars posess. As everyones car is different, programming and rr set up will get the best out of the chip on your motor. And worth it now non programmable chips are only 100 quid less. In the...
Shame Im not ready for mine yet as could have joine dyou and tried getting cost down even more.
Only replaced cambelt 10k ago and dont want to mod engine anymore till it needs doing again. Then will go for cams, verniers, head work and possible 2 litre bottom end all in one go. Plus unichip...
I would say its rwasonable but I would check first with Dastek importers, email them at mailto:info@dastek.co.uk">info@dastek.co.uk
Powerstation and Owen Developments have both been recommended as knowing what they are doing on a scooby site. Although I believe someone on here had a problem...
Find muck off a good product, always used it for degreasing etc on my bikes and they package it up as some type of wheel cleaner now. Available from Halfords or a bike shop. May be called drirt attack now.
Just spray, leave and then rise later. Obviously be careful rinsing. Use a water...
Yeah a mate took his fiesta for its first MOT assuming free retest, failed on something and was avied only free if they did the work.
Check first.
Also worth finding a good place. Used to have mine done at a place that only sells tyres and batteries so that was all they could fail you for...
Not fuel tank is it. Ive only jut started to notice that and never did before. Probably because sometimes I drive without music on (get to hear the rattles too) and also leather seats may do something different to the acoustics inside the car.
Remember bigger disks need bigger wheels. If you have 15s and wanna keep them only option is new disks and pads. Tarox are good.
Also think Tarox do an uprated caliper to replace front OE ones and still fit normal size disks.
Not many places sell it as you are supposed to run for about 10 miles or so or run with it in for a few mins idling and then drain. Some people run for a lot longer and thats where trouble starts.
Some1 is selling 185/55/15 Eagle f1 cheap on ebay. GSD2 not GSD3 but dont think they make a gsd3 in that size. £150 opening bid for 4.

Its supposed to. Know a few places that use it and teh whole of the Wynns pro range.
Never doen it myself but change oil every 5-6k so dont think I have too much crap in engine.
Right, a few things that would need checking considering lack of replacement are:
Fuel filter, should be done every 32k. Try some petrol additive like redex, wynns, stp, redline etc to clean out fuel system and injectors.
Check spark plug condition, whilst at it also check dizzy cap and...
