    Yeah it starts to get funny when stromba replies to anything ;) but then these journos are wrong arent they.... Williams being their 5th best drivers car..... Think a magazine should recruit someone off here for their unbiased well educated views.... A clarkson in the making :D

    tarox discs and pads

    Obviously brand/compound specific. Tarox stuff is recommended by many places for good stopping even when cold. There may be better pads but these may have trade offs like need warming up or squeal. Down to use I guess. Dont go on the track so dont need pads for that use.

    Camber on (J) 1.8 16v Clio

    Drift to one side you will probably find is related to rear toe in which cannot be adjusted. When mine was laser aligned it was found rear right had more toe in than rear left, hence a pull to the left.

    My G88s and pads screeched to hell for the first while. Think it may be teh surface treatment tehy give them. Stop very well now but took a while to stop screeching and get to the performance they should be. Just think you will have to go easy for loads of miles whilst you bed them in.

    1.8 with Magnex inc Decat, BMC CDA and BB chip. RRd at 148 bhp but since fitted a Supersprint ss manifold. Cams, head and 2 litre BE to follow, hoping over 180 with those :D

    Use National Tyres, 15 quid for Duckhams QXR and filter using voucher out of tabloid papers. Wait whilst its done. Cheaper to get that done than top up your engine oil over 6k.

    Think in 185/55/15 you can only get eagleF1 in GSD2 not GSD3 tread pattern.

    Thats why I just pay £15 and get National Tyres to do it. Saves my hands and cant do it that cheap myslef for QXR and filter.

    4got to say, if unsure when last oil change was done get the voucher for national tyres out of tabloid papers. £15 will get you oil and filter change using Duckhams semi synthetic QXR oil. As that price not worth doing yourslelf, even cheaper to just get a new change done rather than keep...

    Nice. Dont forget to wait for the oil temp to rise before booting it. Should warm up within a few mins of driving.

    Eagle F1 GSD3

    I;m running my GSD3s on the front, have S02s on the rear. Feel is improved and I think I know where the limits f the tyre are better than when i had Bridgestone S03s on. Had to do two emergency stops last week where people have cut me up on roundabouts, one from 40 mph and the tyres stop well.

    Just search google with Devil Clio and you should find somewhere to help you out. There is something on ebay but in french. Translates as Devil collector for 16v/Willy. May be worth emailing the person selling as could be full zort or a manifold. Asking 200 odd quid I think new...

    Redline stuff supposed to be good. Put mine in at 70k and is an improvement. MX5 users recommend it as a cure for dodgy first to second gear changes.

    Its just the things like clutch, waterpump, cambelt that are expensive due to teh cramped confines of the 16v engine bay. Make sure these type of things have been done. Or get them done at same time as labour wont be too much more to do all three than just one. My car has never broken down...

    Drilling would depend on the quality of cable used. I used hifi stuff, van den hul and qed so holes had to be made for wiring to exit. With hifi, how can a HU give proper amplification for speakers. If you see the size of a proper amp rated at say 60w per channel, none of the PMPO stuff...

    Defiantely go for a remap or programmable chip that is tuned to the car it is being fitted rather than an off teh shelf jobbie. Wish I had for my valver as not much more money and better results.
