Where can you get gold OZ wheels from Nick? Thought they were only for Scooby fitment. Ive been after some for mine for ages although want to keep to 15" or 16" to save ride quality and cost on tyres.
Thats why I wanted to go with something more researched and proven, allegedly, like H&R or FK. They actually test on the car before production. All very well buying stuff like gaz that ends up getting changed spending more time in the garage. Id prefer it sorted straight from the box and fitted.
Yeah phase2 16v but want to get the best I possible can for the money and heard about harsh ride on Gaz suspension. Was looking at H&R but these FK coilovers look very good, are TUV approved, have a good warranty and are made in conjunction with Koni. Getting them for £480 and fitted free...
After looking at various coilovers decided to go for FK Automotive which look great and use Koni internals. Have a great warranty too.
Found a place called http://www.performancedriven.co.ukwww.performancedriven.co.uk and they sell the non adjustable version for 480 quid, 630 for adjustables...
Pipe is connected from the bac, down and facing the front so natural air flow from front of car will go in there. Would need a longer flexi hose to get it connected to bumper with maybe a scoop that I think Nick Hill does.
He would have multiplied the wheels figure by 1.15 like mine did to count for transmission loss.
Mine worked out at 148bhp at flywheel, just over 126 at wheels with just Magnex cat back and BMC CDA fitted. Suprised with your chip its not more, unless the open IK does not help.

Tried for hours last time to import the pickie but finally got it on:

Hopefully if I can get back in touch with the people who did this they will knock up a few for people but not many people seem interested in paying for a quality...
Would agree with that Nick. Other than having to get an adaptor made to fit on the throttle body, like I did the filter is great and well worth the money. Nice use of silicone hose (also required) to go between CDA and adaptor.
Shame BMC dont make the kit to fit properly in the first place.
Just seems the same as 10k boost but made in a foam by ecotek manufacturers. If it does decoke the engine through throttle body and apply better through being a foam may be a good idea. Dont think these are wonder cures just like injector cleaners arent but must help restore lost power rather...

My BMC CDA RRd at 148 bhp at the flywheel against a standard manufacturer claim of 137 bhp. 11 bhp extra from the CDA and Magnex cat back exhaust AFTER 65K miles. Not chipped it yet but this may also help.
Things do work but maybe not on all cars and you have to try 1st and not dismiss...
Very nice Pete. What happened with the insurance. Did it all go through with the Pug owner? Are you getting a new car or putting this one back on the road?

My Tarox G88 disks and pads on front are still squealing like pigs. Dont now how much they need to run in. Also the standard caliper is crap (mate from AP confirmed this) so you would be better with the kit if calipers are better.
As I want to replace my old suspension which has seen better days, any1 know of any good coilovers to go for.
See we get 20% of Leda stuff, any1 tried it? How about H&R (which dont come with rear shocks) or KW? KW seems not much more expensive than AVO and possibly better designed IMO...
I just changed my insurance to esure, although I am 28 and have 6yrs NCB protected and 3 points they were cheapest, beating elephant by some way who I was with last year.
esure supposedly insure any1 with minimum of 4yrs NCB. Give them a try.

Just check tyre wear. When I did my brakes swapped the rear and fron wheels over due to more wear on the front. Outide wear was more than the middle of teh tyre at 30 psi so now running at 32 which I think is correct. This is on 195/50/15 though.

Was this not supposed to come out in the shops today. Maybe my local WH Smith is not stocking it or dont know about it!
If any1 has bought a copy please let me know so that I am sure its definately out and can hunt for a copy.
Cheers

I believe most braking is done at the front, rear just used by handbrake and less stopping power overall than the front. I got Tarox to match front but probably not worth spending too much on them. They are smaller diameter too so you will hardly see them anyway.
