Was speaking to eurostylinmg about BMC stuff and they bring in Supersprint. Apparently manifold costs 320 plus vat. Think we would get 10 per cent of this from carnoisseur or demon tweeks.
I would have thought the supersprint would be better tested on dyno etc than the ktec.
Wouldnt test on 16v as they may need an adaptor plate fitting to the throttle body like my CDA did. CDA fits to that via silicone hose. Unless could use that for all the kits. Never had a standard airbox though so dont know how much these would improve upon a standard car, it would only...
Are BMC doing an adaptor plate now as I had to get mine made specially. Gonna fit small filters on the breather hoses.
CDA is quiet as it is sealed like the original airbox was. Open kits are louder like piperx, k&n etc
Nice colourcoding with the roof!!!!
Own a blue 16v and not sure if the round lites suite the shape of phase 1/2 IMHO. Photo may not do it justice though.
Would have thought PGTI might be interested in this as a comparative test of new gen IK systems like the Viper, CDA and ITG would be appreciated by all persons thinking of such a mod.
Hopefully taking mine to the RR day at BB and will see then. Currently with Magnex cat back but will have a chip and decat pipe by then. I suppose they only way is to check against cars with the same spec, but then viper is not available for willy/16v and hardly any1 uses the ITG stuff.
I know i am biased towards denon but check this out:

Any tell tale signs or warning before it went?
Getting mine done in february as brassic at the mo. Car seems OK but can imagine the belt being in shreds when head comes off.
Sorry to crash but any1 know of a good place to get a half done boot install finished? Place that did it messed me about with shoddy work on door installs so never gone back and amps, crossovers etc screwed on to mdf base need sides and a top fitting with cutouts in the top to see the amps...

Forgot to say check signal to noise ratio also as the higher the figure (in dB) usually gives a higher quality sound. Nakamichi MB100 is the one I would go for.
I would go with a head unit without amplification presuming you are going for amplification. Amps in head units arent that good anyway so just make sure you have as high a pre-out as possible.
My Denon DCT1000R was one of the best non amplified head units when I bought it and has 4v or 8v...
I used to run 30 but now 32 psi and find that good enough without having to harsh a ride.
On the subject of new front tyres. Drven did a test months ago on channel 4 where they tried fitting new tyres either to the front or the rear of the car. Car only broke away and spun on a wet corner...

Happened to me ages ago when the spare steel wheel with crap tyre was deflating itself and lost grip due to the tyre pressure.
I would say 15s handle better from what Ive heard but you would have to make sure tyres are good quality just like you would 17s. Crap 15s against good 17s would...

CDA 70-150 is the model I have used. You will still have to get an adaptor plate and some silicone hosing to match this to the throtle body. Basically an adaptor has to be fabricated to fit the throtle body giving enough metal (lip) to allow the silicone hose to clamp on.
Its a great filter...
If you are running phase 1 seats Nick then Phase 2s are more supportive with better bolsters on to hug you more, even the leather ones which I managed to acquire recently. And they will fit easily and cheap.
First thing I got done on my car was get QM 6.5 inch components fitted in doors. QM 218.61. Bugger to fit though as standard size is 5.25 inch. Many ICE specialists said it cant be done but took it to a place who has done this before. Only problem was a YTS lad cutting the hole to close to...
Soon as possible when funds allow as nearly on 69K with original cambelt so needs doing soon. Thought may as well go for the chip at the same time so probably february.
I should be popping down to BB in the new year to get my cambelt changed and chip fitted at same time. Will only know then but they produce some good info by catalogue or on their website and have a rolling road too which hopefully they use when setting up the chip.
Where can you get gold OZ wheels from Nick? Thought they were only for Scooby fitment. Ive been after some for mine for ages although want to keep to 15" or 16" to save ride quality and cost on tyres.
Yeah you do pay for what you get but who could justify paying over the odds for suspension on a clio. You will get a great return in terms of handling up to a point until it becomes not worth the extra money. I would not be wanting to pay more than 480 quid for a set of coilovers as I wont be...
