And who's fault is that? I took out my own policy as soon as I passed my test, I was driving a Clio 16v when I was 18, Celica GT4 when I was 20, and Ive had a Clio 172 for the last two years, never paid more than 800 for insurance, now paying 500 with full NCB.
Thank you! I find it funny discussing the 172 vs ........ (enter hatchback of choice) so thought I'd add some fun to the usual "my 172 will hammer my mates 106 round the twisties". :)
the Clio has better areodynamics and vents in the front bumper so it will stick to the ground on the twisties better, you also have to make sure you get the mitch Pilots upto temperature otherwise it wont stick so well on the twisties, abit like an F1 car...
^^ they would put an intel. report in on your vehicle so that other Officers are aware should you continue to abuse the law. Using a car on a road is a privilege not a right, you should respect the rules like the majority of other road users do, plus it makes your car look crap anyway...
It shouldnt happen to anyone! Someone who is in full control of a mechanically sound car will never see the rear end or whatever slip out! Thats the reason I posted!
Im concidering trading in/selling my ph1 172. I know prices are very subjective things and no one can really give an accurate price without seeing the car.
Aa ph1 isnt something they would look to sell on, Id expect it to go off to auction or whatever they do. Looking at Parkers a Y2001...
I had a new light on my 172 because a clip had broke on mine, and it failed for the same reason, fortunately I was able to swap it. Alot of companies buy parts from abroad, whether it be new or used parts.
Gotta disagree bud, just look how itunes has taken off over the last couple of years, CD's are nearly obsolete now.
As internet connections get faster, legal movie downloads will come into their own. Those who still want something physical will stick with DVD. They will be around for years...
Im sure that if this common fault with the suspension was such a problem Renault would have recalled them by now, seeing as it changes the handling so dramatically!
Someone either pressed the gas too hard, or touched the brake, or was even going too fast!
mycarcheck.com is a little misleading, typed my plate in and in big red writing We have further important information about Y$$$ $$$. I thought s**t!
So I thought Id try another car off Ebay at random "We have further important information about YS54GLF, a Renault Clio Renaultsport 182 16v"...
