When that light was on in the cup it did nothing, car was fine, since its gone off. (touch wood).! it didnt put my car into limp mode atal, ive found when my car going into limp mode it wound not go over 3k but idled fine, when ypu slam down the foot it slowly goes to 3k and no more:S

well im away to put a CAF on the clio with trumpet, where have you guys mounted it and was it easy, pictures would be much appreciated:)

sometimes when i open my car from the keyfob the alarm does a series of beeps, maybe about 4. But only sometimes does it, anyone have any ideas on what this could be or experianced it themeselves?

so you wouldnt blame renault for selling you a 172 with a cheap non geniune 1.2 style back box that was restricting the car up to 40bhp:rolleyes: surley if there had any brains what so ever they would have picked that up when they were doing the saftey check when i bought it, to be fair i never...

Well guys your not going to believe this but................ got my clio cup rolling roaded again at falkland performance ran a dismal 129bhp before :( so thats when this thread started, after alot of discusssion i had the back box changed as it was clearly a restriction and the car decatted...

Changed nothing :S going to put on the map tommorrow after the RR and see what it does if anything;)

By the map do you mean the black censor at the other side of the inlet, sorry i have a bit of trouble with these french cars:) hasnt come on again today and did a 100mile trip :eek:

Must be a french thing..... one of them came on again today, could this be anything to do with the map censor as i got one tonight along with the other little grey censor that plugs into the inlet manifold Here is the light again. went on while driving so turned the car off and on and it...

ive found that dodgy/buggered spark plug, dodgy/ corroded leads..... that sort of things cause it as for symptoms spluttering, exhaust sounds louder that normal, fuel consumption etc this is based on my older cars but hope it helps:)
