Small update
Weather is looking great for Spa so ive rammed the track wheels in. Just enough room to comfortably get them in with the cage and rear bar.
Loaded up.
Just lids and bag to chuck in and good to go. Roll on Friday.

Winter coming and ive sorned it until next spring.
Took the ds1.11 pads out and refitted stock pads to save the good ones falling apart. Discs coated in xcp rust block to stop them rusting like fcuk.

Replaced the knackered top engine mount on the orange dci through the week. Nice easy 20 min job.

Sheffield and back in the orange clio this morning. All going well until i went over a small pothole causing a loud bang. Open the bonnet to have a look and the top oil filled engine mount has s**t itself.

Changed the rear o/s brake pipe today. It was rusty where it clips to the beam and on the end where a previous butcher had fitted a new caliper. This was playing on my mind a little as your never sure how solid the pipe is when rust is showing and wanted it gone.

Bit of diag on the blue clio today. Started off with a leakoff test. One of the leakoff pipes was on super tight and came off suddenly which made my arm snap the top of the dipstick off :cautious...
Absolutely fine removing the 4 bolts holding the mount to the inner wing without supporting the engine. Engine wont move anywhere aslong as its not driven.
What model is it ph2 172?
For the temp gauge id check the wire for continuety back to the ecu and go from there.
Sounds like its got some wiring gremlins going on Immob light on ph2 is one wire from clocks to uch..id be looking around the uch plugs.

Blue 225 mot had expired and its not moved this year. Its been shuffled in and out the garage a couple of times thats about it.
Booked it in for mot so got it out over the weekend for a clean and a quick run round the block. Its been on trickle charge so battery is good, checked...

Blue van failed to proceed today. It had not been used since last thursday and shuffled up and down the drive a couple of times. I was out today and the mrs went to use it, started as usual then stalled 5 seconds later and would not restart.

Daily use this week and its been great fun. Too easy to drive fast and everybody wants to race a yellow car for whatever reason. Drinks fuel when not driven sensibly. Love it!

If you see rpm move on live data when cranking your tdc sensor is working ok.
Check you have Spark and fuel. Check voltage at fuel pump connector and fuel line into a bottle to check flow.
100% better, impressed with the quality for the price.
