Stick a set of cheapo universal centre caps in, stops the hub nuts rusting. Nightmare to match the spwedline anthracite however, had 2 attempts and give up😆
If original clio ph2 key were so easy to bypass then nobody would be struggling with red immobiliser light of doom on the dash  prove me wrong on this one but there is no easy trick to get them away, ph1 can be done but apart from that you need an emulator for ph2.
I doubt anybody is...
Are you still on original engine ecu and uch? If yes, the oem immob is not easy to bypass so not worth the hassle.
If on standalone ecu a hidden switch on the power to ecu or fuel pump will probably be sufficient
Catcams springs are fine with stock cams. I run them in 2 of my f4r on stock cams no wear, the followers are roller rocker.
When fitting the springs will need to be shimmed to achieve the correct fitted height.
Id be tempted to use the proper anaerobic sealant as there is a chance any thats squidged out might block oilways in the head or end up in the sump blocking the oilpump strainer.
Ive never personally had to revisit a cam cover after sealed with loctite 518 or the renault equivalent blue...
Update.
Quick blast down to Croft yesterday as an Opentrack day was on. I was initially going to see if i could get on in the pm but didnt bother in the end. I was on some antibiotics last week and they have knocked several shades of shite out of my stomach :cautious:
Weather was epic and...
Updates.
Blue dci 186800 current mileage. Not done loads of miles since last update, odd day of running about with work and the usual day to day use.
I had a chirp starting to develop from the aux belt area from cold. I get a bit twitchy with stuff like this as dont want it failing and doing...
Glad you enjoyed the few laps mate. Was quite hard to pedal it round there suspension still needs a ton of work. Currently working out a plan for that.
Cheers mate. Wish i had invested in it years ago, makes leak finding super easy!
Its a pretty horrible job to do the bushes.
I usually remove them with fire and a hacksaw. Large vice will usually do to fit the new ones if you dont have a press.
Press is a better option though loads easier.
Updates.
Throttle body gasket was leaking on the Kangoo resulting in a screeching sound on idle and on boost, noticed it develop intermittently after Anglesey/CSF last year but it had started to get bad when used recently.
Performance was down and found the leak via smoke test.
Ive never been...
Small update.
A while ago i reamed out the selector bush back to 10mm to stop the famous megane stiff shifter issue. Its caused no issues on the street but was starting to stick with heatsoak after several laps of Croft making me miss 4th and hit 6th gear etc, luckily it sticks to drivers side...
Id be careful booting it before map, fuelling might be very lean, or ecu could be limiting it to stop it boosting to the moon.
Check for boost leaks before mapping.
Updates
Washed the r26 yesterday as it looked a right state after Croft. Front was peppered with flies and rubber marks all over the sills/lower doors.
Scrubs up ok.
Changed the oil and filter for fresh again today, took advantage of some free lift time when my mates garage is quiet. Oil...
Its still running, id reset the timing and if running ok comp test it. If all checks out, prob got away with it.
My only worry would be has it weakened the valves with them lightly kissing the pistons.
Worth doing the steering rack bushes whilst in the area assuming its on oem rack. I have powerflex ones on mine, no idea if oem still available.
Id say you have the rest covered ok though. Itll drive loads better with fresh suspension and steering parts on.
Small update.
Treated it to a retrimmed steering wheel as the original R26 wheel was past its best.
Had it trimmed in smooth nappa leather top and bottom, perforated nappa leather sides finished off with oem Lamborghini nappa leather yellow marker and yellow stitching.
All done by...
