Haven't had an iPhone but had to sell them by the crate load when they first appeared and seemed to immediately take the brand and flush it away
"this is Apple, why is it cheap? It's only going to attract scallies and scum, Jobs, you fool!".
Of course, I was right. But given that I've tried...
Re: iPhone 5 this October??

I haven't tried out other phones for just that reason, but I can just tell that this Sony is running nowhere near as well as it did when i first got it.

Re: iPhone 5 this October??
Sweet.
I've been through 3 phones in the last 24 months, which is nothing to some people I know, but it doesn't fill me with confidence.
Re: iPhone 5 this October??
Just sitting here, biding my time until the 5 comes out, every day the Xperia Play gets closerr to being thrown at /through a window.
Hoping an Apple phone will stay usable for longer than 8 months
I'd imagine you'll need some sort of adaptors, especially if you've got remote controls you want to keep active.
Then ,when it comes to speakers, either the kevlar-coned Pioneed custom-fit components or Hertz Dieci up front.
Big mid-basses in the back, amplified
You don't even need one of the tall net ones.
I used to have one of these and it was fine.
But, if you like to be able to hear your music every now and again these ones are better, but you could even check your style hoops and see if one of these fits. If so, get it.... and the normal winblocker.
get a wind blocker on your list too dude, even the basic Mazda flip-up plastic one will make roof-down driving a lot less blustery. I didn't believe it until I'd been in a '5 without one.
Then where? The roof lining?
Seriously, no.
17cm Door components.
then if you really want to blow money, get some 17cm Mid-bass in the rears and ampo the lot of them.
Or, get 6x9's, a yozza exhaust and monster stickers
Easier to use the in-lines with the existing wiring than have to plumb in x-overs though.
deadening in the doors should help you hear more of what the woofers are doing but they don't improve their performance per se.
I think... I might be wrong, MT will put me right if so :o
