That looks incredible ! That is the perfect car for the roads around there. Definitely don't lower or go for hard coilovers as the roads are better suited to oem suspension.
I was in Gibraltar last week for a bit and stayed near Los Barrios. There are hardly any nice cars in that part of Spain...
They are a b*****d to reassemble. Took me days of messing to get it back together. Once you have the concave washers in place try and get the handbrake arm through one hole, press down on one side of the washers and try and slide the arm over the edge of them, then pry down on the washers with...
I have a 2014 Clio DCi - had it 3 years and never needed anything more than usual consumables. Never broken down or had anything fail. Does 90+ mpg , no tax , the stereo is pretty good. Perfect for what you need it for.
Wow looks incredible, Cant wait to see this finished.
Do you have a link for the new brake booster you ordered? I think I need one as mine is just as rusty.
Scam advert, its posted every week. Someone's ebay account will have been hacked and they then post hundreds of adverts like that one. Its always the same price. I have an alert set up on Ebay for V6's so see this every week, I always report them and they get taken down quickly.
I bought this for 5600 a few years ago. https://cliosport.net/threads/sold-alien-green-200-cup-recaros-akrapovic-etc-%C2%A36000.803434/
Shows how prices are shooting up.
I had that issue too on one of my old 182's. You should be able to get your hand down between the exhaust manifold (middle two pipes) and feel around for the spade connector. Pull it off and use pliers to squeeze the spade connector a bit so it makes better contact and is less likely to come off...
There is surprisingly little weight on the rear. Jack the rear beam up and place the axle stands with perhaps some wood between on the rear jack points. I don't think there is another way.
It was only at Blyton for the ClioSport Festival. It hadnt been on track at all in my ownership and dont think it had before me. £10K is probably the minimum, its a super rare car, especially as its a cup with Recaros and aircon.
I had the pleasure of owning that car for about 2 years, Absolutely loved it! It had the best of everything -Akrapovic, Bilsteins, Recaros, Brembos, projectors, billet gear stick, Alcantara wheel, Cup2 tyres, Cup with aircon and the best colour out there - Alien green. It was a joy to own and...
Really nice first car. You have a Clio MK2 campus. This was a run out model that Renault did at the very end of the production of MK2 clios.
Great colour too, when clean and in the sun the colour is incredible.
