Sometimes he has wheels in so you can do an exchange, he sends you a wheel, you send him your old one back. Worked for me.
When you've got the dash out you can change the front components, if you haven't already or aren't bothered.
Love the wheels!
Spinksy:
If you can pick up some RS seats on the cheap, you may as well.
A bit of leather is never a bad thing. Also, tap up Mikey to get the steering wheel done... you could have green stitching and top-band.
They wentwith the wrong technologies really.
Symbian did well before iOS and Android came along, but then development seemed to come to a stop.
Now they're in bed with Microsoft for their handsets, but it's just not getting the traction in the market.
EDIT: As Tom says
Just wondering, this is more about 2011, but it may well be carried over.
What's the point of the Crofty interviews? Is this mechanic going to carry over?
How many cubes could you stuff into the back of a Vee I wonder?
Sure, it'll only make the thing even more unstable, but... a longitudinaly mounted Vee12? nomnomnom

They're not quite as comfortable as the Sony hyper-cans I've been using before, and they almost feel like they'll snap it you breath on them in the wrong way but the sound is top-notch.

IN fairness, there's stick-on bits to do that a lot easier.

I went for a re-trim with silver stitching (black 172 with the silver dash inserts). Should be a pic on his thread
Brilliant work by Mikey, you can't go wrong with him.
Which would actually be the correct one anyway, my 'tard there.
Eternal flame badges went out in '97
You going to have it in silver, or colour code it to match? ;)
Mate, this argument is invalid.
look at all the 1.2's out there which have been "treated" to a the "full replica" treatment.
Sure, he's throwing money away, hand-over-fist, but, well, at least it's not another 1.172 on the road. It's a bit different.... Not a popular different, granted, but...
We're looking at more money, but GoldenMonkey tells the truth. I'd suggest:-

oh,. and dont forget...
I dunno. Well, atually, I don't know about the 1.2's etc. but the stuff I've got in the 172 is pretty decent. Unless I get an amp, I wont bother upgrading them. As I said, if you can filter out the low frequencies to the speakers and divert them all to the sub, they do reet
FOr gargaes, no, sorry, not anywhere near your end of the world to know. :)
