    Cup shocks VS the world

I have both Bilstein B14's on one 182 and Cup shocks and Prolines on my daily 182. I would say that the Bilsteins are harder but they have far better compliance for the crap road surfaces we have. Going fast round bends the bilsteins are fantastic. I would have bilsteins on both cars but because...

    Boot Solenoid.

3 bolt. before getting a new one, unbolt it - then remove the one torx screw and rotate the cogs a few times, this usually fixes it. Also test it by removing the cogs, plug the motor unit in to the plug and press the keyfob, you should see the motor spin quickly.

Boot wont open - not the solenoid/actuator

So there wasnt actually anything wrong with the electrics. It was the actuator and the replacement actuator that was second hand that were a bit seized up. used a multimeter which confirmed electrics were OK . I then removed the cogs and tried it, motor span. lubed it all up and refitted and all...

Boot wont open - not the solenoid/actuator

Last few days my boot has remained locked and you dont get the loud click from the solenoid in the boot when trying to unlock it. Initially I thought it was the solenoid/actuator as I have had one fail before. Luckily I had a spare boot so removed the locking unit from that and tried it on my...

    welding exhaust

Scorpion have a lifetime warranty, BUT only for the original purchaser of the exhaust. Find your receipt and use that to get a new mid section. If you dont have one then get creative with a printed ebay receipt.

hmm noob question. which way up eibach springs go?

Thats correct, did you need the spring compressors in the end. Also looks like you have breand new shocks and pms top mounts, should be lovely when you get them on the car. I could be wrong but have a look at the fitting guide on pms website as the top mount you have on top of the shock looks...
