On that note.
How much does it cost if a Xenon blows anyway?
In the 4 years of ownership I've not had to change a bulb on the Clio (by writing this no doubt I'll be in for a pair within a week)
Are they supposed to last a lot longer or something?
EDITED FOR CORRECTNESS: ^
quite right old chap, why people still use that out-dated halogen stuff is quite beyond me what what.
may as well just hang some lanterns out of the windows and be done with it ;)
I can't argue with that. I've apologised for the stripes enough times before. Even if I take them off, I'll still have stripes now anyway, just darker BG ones.
Anyway, could be worse, could be some poverty-spec, shopping clio with a big engine and lowz
You win some, you lose some
Maybe, but equally any tyre will die quicker if there's more force going through it.
Pirelli compouns are softer than most, but not much grippier for it, which makes it a bit pointless really.
Conti's or (preferably) Michelins are the way for Clios, but that will involve dollars.
EDIT: Oh...
These are the easiest upgrade possible.
You can, just about, get the tweets changed without ripping the dash out. I've had a trial-run before ordering a set myself. DOn't get me wrong, swearing will occur, but the little buggers WILL come out undamaged.
You could do with a small amp to drive...
clean the cap and go for a good, long drive.
If it comes back, could well be a head gasket. If not, most likely just condensation. Short trips wont help
Anyway, back on subject.
LED's look toss on anything uther than cars that had them from the factory.
Period.
May as well just get a Sunstrip with "Bellend" written on it for good measure.
Fresh Blackcircles hedge-magnets are better than worn out anythings.
I'd be interested to see the usual magazines do tyre tests on samples that aren't sticker-fresh.
Tyres that have had, say, 5,000 miles put through them. See how they stack up then. I mean, the "ultimate dry grip" is all...
I did my time selling phones.
Typically the iPhone buyer is a lot less tech-savvy than a Symbian or Android user. iPhone just plugs in and works (providing you're not holding it at the time, of course).
They may not be technically the best, but because it's "an iPhone", people want it. Mostly...
it'll be a minimum-term rolling contract, much like a mobiel phone contract.
You wont get deals on set-top boxes as you technically rent them anyway (unlike Sky) but this does mean you get them replaced whenever they go wrong, no questions asked (covered for accidental and liquid damage)...
I took the 172 in for new tyres and full alignment and wound up with a steering wheel on the wonk, so yes, if they can move it to being wrong, they can move it to being right too
