^^ Agreed, the Sidewinder was my first wheel and is very good. Unfortunately the rubber grips eventually all broke off (a bit like a clio) and it was the gameport version so not much use these days.
Ahh thought that was you but couldn't really tell with the light shining of the windscreen :D.
I often see a silver 182 along there on the way home so I thought it was that one until you'd gone past and I could see there were no tailpipes.
I've got one of these:

Best wheel i've used and i've owned 4 different wheels over the years.
There's better if you want to spend silly money on some hand built really serious bits of kit but this is will do nicely.
About bloody time! Will pre-order it tonight.
From the demo it does look good but I still think i'll prefer GT Legends, the cars of that era are just more fun to drive.
Ahh ok, I couldn't really miss your mate in the silver skyline when he ended up going backwards through the chicane right in front of me :clown:

Donington is an excellent circuit, i'd say go for that, although i've never been to Oulton so cant say on that.
I wouldn't exactly say donington is ideal for beginners, if you are a bit unsure go to an airfiled like elvington, however if you're reasonably confident then start out at a proper...
After more work yesterday down at Rentech, the new unit is almost ready to go. Just a few things left to tidy up and sort out, and some second coats of paint.
Looking very good now, a big transformation from the photos taken last week.
Good luck next week Mike! :D
I'm running the fastchip 182 group N map on my Trophy, and have been for about 9 months now.
Very pleased with it and no problems at all, in fact it got rid of one :P
Yeah, i've been with them (under the Force9 brand) since 1999, and they have been great, but lately they've just annoyed a lot of people. To be fair a lot of it has come from BT's failings, but F9 haven't helped themselves with the way they've pitched their products and managed upgrades...
I've been using XP Media Centre for a few months now, with plans like you to build a box to plug into the TV. I really like it, easy to flick through your music collection, photos, watch downloaded vids etc, and my main purpose for it which was as a PVR to record TV progs. With the MCE remote...
