    take the front strut off, it'll be fairly obvious if its bent (they nomally bend above the ABS wire bracket) hope you took some pictures of the pothole??? you can claim off the council

    apparentley they use a specific oil which is something daft like £20 a litre from renault, but don't quote me on that!!

    you can't see the timing belt, its hidden under covers the aux belt is on the left hand side of the engine as you look at it (drivers side)

    aux belt powers air con, alt, water pump, and PAS if the belt snaps, you get flat battery, no PAS, no water pump = bad!!!
