i know of a 1.2 16v clio that will upset many cups/172/182s around the track and also round the twisties!!! it all very well having the power, but if the car rolls like a fishing boat in the atlantic, you aint got sh*t TBH!!! slower cars better setup will 9/10times be quicker round the track

im putting a "played with" megane RS engine into my clio = 270bhp+ 6speed box and the option of antilag too if it isnt quick enough!!!! im in Singapore at the mo, en route to Sydney, work starts when im back on the 16th of Jan

im gonna arrange a "prove it" day in the summer next year

us models dont work over here (radio and dvd codes are worng apparently) get Pioneer or Alpine (look at the mail order companies, works out much cheaper)

where you getting the wheels done?? if you go through me, ill put a spare set on your car for you, refurb your wheels and return them to you fully balanced etc etc??

buy a 1.2 mate, mine often overtakes "RS clios" on the track

it sometimes helps if you remove the main beam light them pull the sidelight out if your in/around bham ill do it for you

my friend Tony has a friend called "some foreign name" (salvio briatory, i think) he runs Renault F1 thats the quickest Renault i know of, other than mine!!! It went round the Top Gear test track 20secs quicker than an enzo!!!

sorry, but ive driven both cups and a Revod LCR on track, and the CUP is SO much more fun!!!! LCR, in a straight line = good, but add corners it = TANK/BARGE/OCEAN LINER!!!!!
