Is it possible to remove the whole exhaust as one piece including the manifold without taking half the car apart? The car is a phase2 172 :)

Is there a knack to setting up the gear linkage on a 1*2? Had to remove mine (undone the pinch bolt) And now its hard to get them smooth. Which gears are selected when the selector is pushed into the positions under the car? If that makes sense..... Where is "neutral" ?

In short I had to drop the subframe to remove the gearbox, loosened the steering rack bolts so it was loose of the subframe.... Refitted, done them up all up again and now the steering wheel somehow isnt connected to anything, just spins to infinity!?!? :eek: Someone help pronto!!! thanks

Hi guys, After changing the engine over in my Ph2 172, the 3 pin plug that goes onto the speedo sensor has the black wire broken, and a small part of it still in the plug. Speedo now doesnt work obviously.... but there's nothing I can do to fix it without replacing the plug with another that...

Well it would seem my slightly tappy engine, suddenly turned into a huge knock this evening and so mr RAC had to come and get me :mad::dapprove: Sounds as if its bottom end but its hard to tell. It had been running ok too since changing the oil a couple of days ago :(
