Have a play about with them, m8. I've varied my pressues (at different times of the year as well) - anywhere from around 27 to 33 PSI on different axles. Imo, it does change the 'feel' of the car in a subtle way. Personally, I run on 33 up front and 31 on the rears. D.

Just checked them now - I think it was right to fail the MOT! ;) Outside edge isn't too bad..... But the inner pad is more worn down. Got a nice etched groove from something as well. Probably a trapped stone or something. :( Oh well. I ordered a replacement set yesterday anyway. D.

Cheers for the comments guys. I would have expected the fronts to take the brunt of slowing the car down anyway. Could it have been that the rears have been binding slightly over time and eventually just worn down? I would have thought I'd notice some impact in performance/mpgs with that...

^^^ - I can vouch for those guys. We had a Mac drive fail with shitloads of photos on it at work. Cost around £75 for the initial analysis, and a further £900+ for the recovery itself. They managed to get back pretty much every file (literally single figures in ones that were too corrupted)...
