You'll probably have to remove the rear panel to get the seat belt reel out. What was the advisory for the steering column? Mine said play in the column which tured out to be the universal joint but tightening it made the bloody thing creak worse than my knees do 😂.

I didn't find it that bad getting in last year. I parked with the BMW club so was sent around the farm and in via the exit road so avoided the main queue. I don't know why they don't split the files in two and send more cars in that way.

Check the jacking points on the sills. They get bent over and then rust from moisture getting between the layers and the sills rot from the inside out then.
