    cs_rich's Fiesta ST3

Just buy an ST-1 so it doesn't have keyless. It would be fascinating to see figures for how many have been stolen. I bet it's a tiny percentage in reality.

    The Ford Appreciation Thread

I don't understand this thing. Why use the Explorer name on something that isn't actually an Explorer? Can't they afford anyone that can think of car names? I can see Ford being gone from Europe before long, at least when it comes to cars. They seem to have totally lost it.

Are there any Word geniuses on here?

Might be a slightly weird request, but I need to create a couple of document templates in Word; one for a letterhead and one for an internal memo. I need them to have fixed fields, where people can't change the layout or font. Does anyone have any good guides on how to do this? Microsoft...

Is going from Clio 182 to a Fiesta ST a good move?

The keyless entry was susceptible to range extending devices etc. They introduced a motion activated key for the MK8 but I don't know if it was made available for the MK7.

Is going from Clio 182 to a Fiesta ST a good move?

I have spent a good bit of time driving both. The Fiesta is obviously a lot more civilised and way easier to live with on a daily basis. The seating position is a little higher than I like but, compared to the Clio's weirdly angled steering wheel and silly gear lever position, it's still an...

Sunglasses Ron’s LY Clio 220 Trophy

Like it! These have grown on me a lot recently, and they look great in yellow.

    The Ford Appreciation Thread

I think it's hilarious how annoyed people are getting over it. Yes it's a lot of money, but it's worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Its not how I'd spend £600k but, if you're a billionaire and have loads of cars, why wouldn't you?

Goodyear tyre issues from new (and other manufacturers)

I think you were just unlucky TBH. I've had Goodyears in the past and know loads of people that use them and don't think I've ever heard of issues.

The everlasting ph1 ITB Build **GREEN-BUILD STARTS AT PAGE 100**

Sorry to hear you're going through all of that. Hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel now though.

R34 GTT. Chatted to the owner. Freshly built RB25 with CP pistons, Tomei cams, big turbo etc etc. Also had GTR bumpers, Nismo-style bonnet and BBS wheels. He said it was about 600bhp.

What's your favourite car related YouTube channel?

It's sad really, as the Carfection stuff was really good. It's clearly just not what a lot of people want though. It baffles me what does and doesn't get views though. I put a really badly edited video up a few weeks ago and it's had 11k views so far. It was so bad that I didn't even realise I...

    My New Monaro Mk2

That doesn't seem too bad to me. Last time I was looking at stainless exhausts, a lot of off-the-shelf systems for hot hatches are nearly £1k now. I remember buying a cat-back system for sub-300 back in about 2005 :(

Another car gone, and one bought. X5 3.0d.

So what's going on the trailer?

Nothing wrong with that, but you just keep trying the same one over and over again

    Penistone Rally

Closed-road events are beyond a lot of clubmen, but I think that's probably the case in a lot of countries. They're not entry level events at the end of the day though. The lack of affordable single-venue rallies is really problematic for sure, especially in certain parts of the country. Entry...

    Penistone Rally

Some of these aren't mega close, but there are quite a few events that you could get to, as well as the one mentioned above. Some of the websites haven't been updated for 2023 yet, but the dates are all correct: East Riding Stages, Feb 26th: https://www.bdmc.org.uk/east-riding-stages Race Retro...

It could be 1,000 and you'd still be mental. This looks like a keeper.

Big Steve World Cup Williams 🌍

Love these. Just about the best looking hot hatch ever in my view. The proportions are just spot on. Look forward to seeing this evolve.

    551bhp 197 Cup

They are, but this makes it looks 1000x more obvious. Each to their own ultimately, but they look gash in my view. And not in a fresh 18-year old college chick way. In a chunky, fifty-year old growler way.
  22. massiveCoRbyn

    551bhp 197 Cup

I know they are, but that doesn't make them look any better. They totally spoil the balance of the car because the side skirts end up sitting lower than the front bumper.

    551bhp 197 Cup

Nice build (apart from the awful skirts and splitter), but I'm not sure a 550bhp Clio appeals a lot to me. Doesn't really seem in keeping with what they're all about somehow.

Aren't all the wings mental enough? Would look 1,000% better without the yellow details I think.

Saw a Huracan STO on my way to work this morning. Didn't have time to get a picture as it was coming out of a side road, but it was in the same awful colour combination as this one:

Hyundai Genesis Coupe for sale in the UK

Saw this on Pistonheads. These are a popular drift car in Saudi, and @P-Co had said he had thought about importing one. If you can put up with LHD, it seems pretty good value for a 2014 350bhp RWD coupe with a manual 'box and only 27k on the clock. https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/13841953

    Mk3 200 RB

As you say, radiator supports rot, but it's not that expensive to sort out, so don't worry too much about it. Gearbox crunching is pretty standard, but not such a big issue (and an excuse to fit an LSD). Suspension bits are more expensive than a 1*2, as they have the twin-pivot hubs, so worth...

    Subaru 22b on Collecting Cars

The two-door Impreza WRC is pretty much the best looking rally car ever. As you say, the WRC arches look a lot better than the ones on the 22B. The proportions are just spot on. You need to try and get a copy of the little lip they had on the bottom of the front bumper on tarmac. Will be...
