Over 50k with the options isn't it? And will only be sold in tiny numbers.
What a shame. The hot hatch market is getting a bit depressing now. This segment is getting to be mega expensive, and Ford are quitting it with the death of the Focus. Renault and Vauxhall have already gone. By next...
In the case of Ford, it's because no one wants small cars anymore. That's why the Corsa topped the UK sales charts, obviously.
Don't understand what they're doing really. It made sense when they were trying to globalise everything, but they seem to be going backwards. The likes of BMW are...
Some questionable mods, but I always quite liked those. Mad that Vauxhall made a VXR version of pretty much everything, then threw it all away and now make nothing of interest at all.
It's up for more than I paid for it in 2019 I think. Can't remember exactly what I gave for it. It's a shame about the problems. The body work was really good for its age when I had it, and I replaced 90% of the suspension.
He's the third owner since I sold it though. The guy who bought it from...
At least he is open about it. I bet a lot aren't.
Tommyfyeah, one of the American ones, has started getting loads of grief because he was doing shady deals with people.
All about saving money now. It's probably one of the better mags, but it has more "contributing editors" than it does pages. Seems like every every other hack is on the freelance payroll.
Daventry is a strange place to walk dogs. In my experience, about the only thing you can do in Daventry is get your hair cut. There must be about 10,000 hairdressers there.
Some nice stuff in there.
However, people who "stance" cars like that Maserati, or the Escort Cosworth and Integrale, need to have their eyes removed with a rusty nail.
That looks lovely, though not sure I'd want the 2.0-litre bit personally. A friend of a friend had one and it's one of the scariest cars I've ever been in. It just felt like it was a bit too much for a little bean tin like that. Didn't help that he drove like an absolute nutcase either of course.
DeMuro has to be the most irritating man on the internet. His voice is infuriating.
It's incredible watching a lot of these YouTubers though. As @dangerous dave says, they can turn two minutes of decent content into a 30-minute video. I stopped watching a lot of the stuff from the likes of Adam...
Beam is fine. Chassis leg above the spring seat will want attention sooner or later though. Not taking anything away from the car at all, but it wants a bit of a grind back to see how close it is to going through.
Great updates and still love this car. Sits lovely and the blue/white combo is brilliant.
Think you need to have a look at that rear chassis rail though. Don't want that rust getting too bad.
How deep does it go? I know Ford have started multiple networks into their cars to stop people from accessing anything outside the stuff that has to be universal.
I have a question for all the VAG experts out there. How similar is the diagnostic equipment across all the group brands? For example, if you buy a VW diagnostic unit (I'm talking pro workshop type stuff), would it work on Audi's and Seats? What about the likes of Porsche and Bentley? Or is it...
I can't say I know anyone that way. Might be worth trying a guy I follow on Instagram though, as he is quite involved in the car scene in the UAE.

My mate did really well in targas in a bog standard 106 Quiksilver. Makes me laugh when people show up for them in fancy cars. My old Escort is used for targa rallies. Total overkill.
Looking forward to seeing how this comes together. In terms of modifying, I probably wouldn't do a lot until you've done an event or two. See what it's shortcomings are and go from there. I'm sure there will be some serious machinery doing road rallies on that side of the country.
I think people eventually got the 1.6 CVH to well north of 300bhp. I seem to remember some claiming 350-odd, but they were serious, serious builds. Top speed record for a 1.6 RS Turbo got to just over 170mph I believe too.
As someone said above, the problem with the Escort was always the...
