As said above mate, take the valver if you have deep pockets, the problem with renaults is that if they suffer any kind of neglect then they suffer big time. As for the astra thats a diffrent car all together, that coupled with the fact that the Astra is far more likley to draw you attention...

I measured them at 20 and a 1/2 inches, i think. I didnt think the half inch would have made much diffence, which it doesnt imo

The only reason i ask is my old VTS stated 7.7 by parkers and 7.4 by citroen and lower again by EVO mag. I raced a few and whilst it wasnt miles away it was relativley quicker off the mark i found. Both cars (mine anway) were stock from what i could tell!

Look on the brightside, when your insurance comes down a few grand you will be able to put fuel in it, christ who knows you might be able to fill the tank once a year, petrol should only be about £3.89 a litre...
