Fletch, to be perfectly honest, if you're building the clio solely to be a bit of fun/track toy, dont bother with ITB's. They really arent worth the money imho, £2.5k for 15bhp and some noise. Sod that lol. That's a roll cage, another seat, & a lot of trackdays ;)

If you look closely at picture 2, you can even see 'FailSport' ingrained in the boot . Normally this would have been funny, but it has actually scratched into the paint quite deeply :(

Re: Project 172k Trophy, & its endless track abuse Strangely, its actually cheaper to buy it from JMS than Pure Motorsport: I actually got a quote from Wests for the Cup setup (new) at about £350 all in! Ok so the Pure kit was a good £150 more than that, but well, i wasnt that bothered...

Nah, if you get the proper one, from Alpina527 (i think) on www.bmwowner.com you're fine. Its if you get a shoddy one off eBay that things go wrong ...

What you are also not mentioning, is that for circa £400 you can have 220bhp via a modifed 325i throttle body, inlet manifold & induction kit ... the 2.8 engine is strangled from the factory!!

Or just buy the KonigSports from Kam @ £570?

Looks lovely as it is!! As soon as you put M5 exhaust on it it will become sh1te however, so leave it well alone.
