Sounds like a problem i had with mine, is the engine choking itself and dying or is it misfiring then dying?
My car was running bad because of my tapets in the head were tight on one side and loose the other. Thus making the car choke.
Also i would check that your sparks, ht leads, coil pack...

Bonnets are not the same. Bonnets are cut differently on the phase 3, like i said. The lights are different also.

1. Fitting is easy, door card off, then swap the old wind up for the electrics, you need the looms all the way to the door to make them work. Also electric switches and a new door card pocket.
