On my paint last night richy, it didn't lift anything in the way of dirt. That's the Carnauba. But it is squeaky clean to start with. I went over the bonnet and wings with Prime, RMGlaze and Onyx last night. Bingo bango beading!!
If you have a mucky area, such as door shuts etc, that's when I...
I would personally fella. Issue with it is it will never be perfect, there will always be marks and you might end up paying that much for it to be done... so might as well get a new one, which will also be free of scratches on the inside as well!
You can, but for the cost, I would check out how much your insurance would cost for a new one.
My excess is £70 for upto five new windows. It doesn't affect your car's insurance as it's a separate policy and it's quick and easy.
That would be/is going to be my route.
Re: Roy's Shed - Esploding in Anthracite
Yes but I do. Or rather the butler does. And "he" (read "they") agreed it understeers. QUITE A LOT. Still, four wheel launches are fun.
Love it. The colour to have the Ph1 in. Ph2 as well TBH!
Boys, tell me. Where did DJW originate from? I presumed you were brothers when I first joined many moons ago - mk1s were the shared chat in those days!
Fancy driving by some bushes so you can bring her back and I can have another day detailing her?
Epic colour.
You know I don't like the white wheels, but love it all the same Jon. Subtle and a delightful colour.
That's fair enough then James.
I would suggest buying a Karcher, and maybe trying to find an offer on somewhere, like Tesco's, Lidl or Argos. But be warned - buy cheap, buy twice.
Below the 3 series, Karcher motors cannot be replaced as they are a sealed plastic unit. Therefore, it's new unit...
Re: Roy's Shed - Esploding in Anthracite
People still stand and stare at the fact the S3 has 312 single pots... madness. They're shite.
Ah fair enough.
Re: Roy's Shed - Esploding in Anthracite
Sure it's been covered, but are the APs part of a package/offering from Mountune, Roy? I.e. I presume they don't count as a "mod" in the eyes of Ford and their warranty?
I can tell you what the foam lance is for - the question is, if you're not interested in washing the car that often, why is it needed.
A snow foam lance is designed to deliver a covering of snow foam - a product that breaks down dirt particles and lifts them harmlessly off your paint work. It...
... really?
Collinites doesn't contain fillers, claying doesn't affect swirls (it technically can create them) and SRP is a filler polish, so will mask them.
;) x
OP check out the detailing sub section for more advice (tut tut Yellowbelly).
No not the mint and teatree shite. Limes or Lemons one. If you like lime/lemons as much as I do, you'll orgasm in the shower each morning FLOL!
I have to have lemon juice in everything. Give me a Corona, lime. Thai meal? Lime. Chicken? Lemon. Gambas? Both!!
Lol, had the same thing the other day, but with Original Source Lime shower gel...
I f**king love limes, so I basically wee a little everytime I step into the car!
Re: Roy's Shed - Esploding in Anthracite
It's the wrong blue for silver rims galtek. PB is a great colour. Granted. But not with silver. It's too strong a colour for silver. it just saps the life out of it. You might as well put it on bricks - silver fades away to insignificance.

For everything now. I used so many I now have some that have been relagated to wheels only etc.
LOVE 'em!
Re: Roy's Shed - Esploding in Anthracite
I agree.
No, we do as well. Like the fact that I like my VAIO laptop and my the fact my Audi has catastrophic understeer.
