Yeah I'm sure that will be fine buddy, but just remember - quick washes/details are where marring occurs. QD is really only good for dust, rather than grime and dirt and you may have caused marring in the paint work.
Depends how anal you are buddy, but with a Black Gold, I would try and do all...
Where's that facepalm picture ...
Ideally buddy yes, because, if you think about it, any mud/dirt/grit/dust particles that were on the paint work, due to your drive to and from work, will have been swirled around your paint work as you applied and buffed off the wax :(
Yeah, Markie knows I don't like DODO.
Sounds familiar buddy. New OEM yes on suspension. And remap/engine/braking mods. But no more suspension mods for me!
Lol, not in the slightest, still see all except their SN waxes as sheite! LP is great as well, but not a lot else does it for me!
Nothing wrong with that Kevin.
Lol Gaz.
OK buddy, start off with something like Meguirars All Purpose Cleaner and aggitate with a brush. Failing that, something like WD40 may break down the substance as it removes waxes/polish stains from plastics. Again, failing that, try the JML magic sponge (no I'm not joking!).
Sounds nice buddy. I'm wanting some four pots - still a talking point of amazement that both S3 models don't come with four pots as standard, when the lighter (but same chassi'd, powered) Leon Cupra R 225 has them as standard!!
Alex, pea sized blobs of polish, max. 4/5 of them around the pad and on in the middle. Then dab the pad against the paint until it has a decent spread.
The stages of polishing depend on machine, but for a DA start on speed 2-4 for a decent number of passes to spread the polish. Then move up to...
Apologies, any! It doesn't make the slightest bit of difference buddy, I assure you. I grab what ever is to hand (ish) and not had any issues. Anything from Cheapo MFs to my wax removal super plush poorboys towels.
Lol! Loves the tar like that. Have some Tardis here buddy that'd make short work of that, if you're lacking?
Photos of Tardis doing it's job are where it's at!!
Outside does make it more difficult, but with the NW clouds pretty much here to stay, should be a little bit easier. The fun part is...
Not that much of an issue as technically it does provide microscopic amounts of "protection" in the form of fillers.
If you've been called into work, once finished, come home, wash the car down as per usual and get some sealent on it. Your paint won't be that affected in such a short period of...
