One note about doing this with 3G. Last night, my iPhone wouldn't unlock after I selected the "essential upgrades" for Cydia after Jailbreaking. However, second time around after restoring the device, I did not choose to upgrade in Cydia and instead just unlocked the phone. This time it...

If it works lad, great. When doing mine, it said that it would say "return to Cydia" then I would have to reboot. Mine just came up with a reboot device icon and it negated the need to do to choices. Worked fine!

They did, not bad for a 5 quid sim card. Just received my replacement Vodafone storm as well, so has all the protective plastic on it. Can now sell the damn thing! Hmm, CS logo does not appear for some reason!

Did all this in half an hour max last night. Great thing to do! Had a problem with the unlock (i.e. it didn't work the first time around, so had to restore the phone which took a good 30-40 minutes and then redo it :(). Works now!

Out of interest, is there something that I need to change to set the CS icon/link to the forums on my spring board to the CS logo, rather than a tiny view of a white background and the list of forums? Ideally would like the link to go to "view all forums" but have the CS logo that was setup...

Really? OK, just done the unlock thing again. Justin, this is a 3G chap, no s :) unlocked using Cydia after using Gopher's jailbreaking guide. Not wanting to speak too soon but this appears to have worked second time around . . .

Hmmm, j/b easy, job done. Tried the unlock and it is tell me that the sim is not recognised and only allows me to do emergency calls . . . Works with the O2 card though! Any suggestions?
