Megs Gold Class
AG SRP
EGP
Megs wax (not spray)
Mainly because all the above are available in Halfords Timmay (makes it easier for new detailers, rather than internet buying etc).
^^^depends how clean they are to start with.
Engine and machine cleaner for me on wheels that haven't been protected. Mine, I just use gold class shampoo, old mitt and the usual brushes as the dirt just "slides" off.
I never use rainx, just heard too many bad reports of people having to, and struggling to, remove it because it goes all foggy and "off".
I use fast glass everytime I clean the car, so once a week. If it starts to look worse than usual I will spend an evening glass polishing them all.
I am...
INteresting this (sorry Alan, stalking you!).
My old vaio battery was buggered so bought a new one for mum as she now uses it. I may just take the battery out since mine sits on the desk a lot of the time!
The headlights on some cars appear to start to fade/get some sort of growth on them and go coarse. Machine polishing or a high cut polish is the only thing that sorts it, can sometimes even require wet sanding.
The first is a superb shot! Well they all are, just the first is the best IMO. Do you work for a photography company fella, as sure I have seen it mentioned before!
EDit; just read up a bit.
Average at best Pauline ;)
LOVE IT! Same colour as the one round by me, drenzo is his user name, nice chap as well!
Love the colour, love the looks, not my choice for the money but bloody good buy :)
Lol, tell me about it, I got so confused when I saw that to re-order (ended up getting it from an American site called Autopia, purely for some other things as well :o)
It's not better or worse on other surfaces, I just prefer other waxes on other my paint :)
I don't like rain x, people have...
Lol @ P222. You mean R222 which was originally called P21S :) The name is so pointless as well, bloody yanks ;)
Yes I use it on my windows and lights. I find it a very good wax, again rewax it every month or so, can be longer.
Yeah in that case it is a very good price. I would ask, is he going to protect the paint afterwards, as it will need sealing/waxing (but this can be done yourself, so even if he doesn't, bring it home, wash it and seal it with Extra Gloss Protection).
