With me, probably once a month I add another layer, but mainly because the waxes that I use don't last that long. Will re polish it every couple of months/6 months.
That sounds very cheap mate, give you a clue, I do it as a hobby for beer money, rather than a business and I charge circa 100 quid for a clio. If this is someone just mopping it I would stay clear and get a detailer in your area to do it properly. East Anglia right?
For a beginner; Megs Gold Class, megs wash mitt, I4Detailing towel, Megs Smooth Surface Clay kit, Super Resin Polish by Megs foam pad applicators, Megs MicroFibre to buff off, Extra Gloss Protection via foam pad applicators, Megs MF to buff off, something like P21s (now called R222 by the gay...
As stated by my more than Northern friend, there are no waxes that are supposed to be applied by hand, simpy choices and personal experience as with most detailing :)
Wouldn't Onyx by hand again, would with the blue velvet, mainly due to coverage and how the wax reacted.
Also, some cars are...
Put it this ways ladies and gents, my MD gave me funny looks on Monday morning when I had blue hands that still had DodoJuice blue velvet on them ;)
It is less wasteful and you get a more even coat. But a lot of waxes don't work as well.
Most I would suggest using applicator pads.
(BTW, post...

Onyx, again by hand . . .
I could...
Applicator pads for polish fella.
Wash should be done with a wash mitt, sheepskin one. Halfords also sell these.
Have a look in the guides section for the cleaning guide.
Lol Warren.
The Storm has crashed on me more times than a blind man in a formula 1 car. It also drops calls quite frequently, as well as "failing" when ever I call someone. But more recently, it seems to have solved that and is working as an average little phone again.
Just wondered if there was someone around that could give you a hand and a few pointers when it comes to detailing lad :)
Anything you aren't sure on, post in here and I will help, along with quite a few others.
Not really fella, pretty wasteful (not being a dick, just informing you :)). Where are you based lad?
What you need, as with most sealents and waxes etc is a nice thin layer. Then topped up as many times as you see fit. By adding thick layers you will just be buffing off a whole load, thus...
Re: iPhone VS Bold - Fight.
That is quite a good point, watching a friend text on his iPhone is quite amusing. The easy type BB function is very good and way ahead of the iPhone.
For me (user of internet all day, maps when driving, maps when walking, would use too many of the apps to name on here and just general other media benefits) then iPhone.
For my father, BB as he won't use the touchscreen, internet or maps.
Media phone vs business phone (Where the Storm went...
Then iPhone, as my vote shows. Large touchscreen for browser and mapping vs small non touch screen. Decent apps that are just quite cool and endless. Similar camera, battery life, charge time etc. No comparison.
With the updates to usability such as bluetooth, speed, copy/paste, MMS and so on...
For the phones you have stated in the poll, it will be a landslide to the iPhone. And I don't think you can compare them either. If the Storm 2 is ever released, that would be a more fair comparison. Like comparing the iPhone 2G and the Storm.
Re: iPhone VS BlackBerry Bold - Fight.
It's free. Plus the BB has had bluetooth since launch.
The iPhone 1st gen was a failure in so many ways. It was just a good browser with apps for kids. s**t camera, s**t battery, no copy and paste, no data bluetooth and no MMS (WTF). The currentl iPhone...
Re: iPhone VS BlackBerry Bold - Fight.
iPhone. And that comes from a BB user. Although I do have the Storm which is like having a 1996 pda.
All my friends have Bolds and don't have a single problem however, plus we have BB chat.
Lol, not as slating as I was expecting!
Not a fan of Orange.
Think the simple question is what are you doing to use the phone for? If you want easy email, average browser and good user interface for contacting people then BB is good (Bold, don't go anywhere near the Storm).
You can basically add about 10 quid per month for a Blackberry or iPhone just for the emailing and internet packages, sadly.
Good deal, similar to mine, paying a little more as have only had it for a couple of months so still paying the "new BB user" prices.
