I don't do themes as I know that they will just slow my already shite Storm down massively!
Haven't had time to download and update to manager 5, mainly because I had to wipe my damn comp the other day!
To bump this with a recent find from Sy;
Photobucket uploader, not an app but a bloody good and useful hint/tip.
Go to the PB site on the BB browser. Log in as usual. Go to the bottom of the page and click on the "Upload" button. This brings up an address such as...
Likewise. Kev it works bloody well, literally emailed the image to the link at 11.01 and got a message back from Photobucket at 11.02 to say it had been uploaded!!
Not a massive file, but means I can literally upload all phone pics as a back up!
If there is just paint, you will end up literally ripping the paint off with anything more than a very very light polish.
Would suggest SRP but would be worried about anything more than that. It would need lacquering for any serious polishing advice.
As above really! I don't use Flickr that much and always upload pics to my photobucket account for CS and other websites . . . so wondered, like with facebook and Flickr, if there could be a photobucket, instant upload icon?
TBF I wash mine after pretty much every use/detail. So when they get to the stage that they just don't clean, I do just either use them for wheels or throw them lol!
It actually breaks the bonds that create the static electricity, thereby destroying the effect.
That is true of fabric that towels are made of, not MFs :)
Hand wash, hang to dry. It's bloody boring but worth it.
Don't be so silly. I burn £20 notes. £50's make me look cool on a night out...
FF is very light. I find it actually takes quite a while to work in as well. Really does finish off the paint work nicely and contains no fillers, so will do exactly what it says on the tin!
Destroys the weave and also kills the charge (static charge helps dust etc to stick to the cloth, making the cloth lift up the contaminants rather than push them about).
The very simple answer to those points is not everyone is a car detailer.
Think how many people out there want to wash their cars. Now think how many are bothered that there are scratches in the paintwork that can only be seen in direct sunlight and under certain lights . . . not many.
If...
If/when I minor swirling, I will either use FF or SRP. If I am just getting rid a of the layers of wax/sealent for reapplication after say 6 months I would just use FF as there are no filling agents in it.
Applicator pads fella, all the way. The megs ones sold in halfords will see you right.
The tardis stuff is good, but tbh, if it is light paint/only water based, Auto Glym Intensive tar remover will shift it, again available from halfords.
