It's a risk, but fast becoming one you may have to take as none rusty RB's get fewer and far between and prices push up to the 5k region and more if you really are set on an RB My rust has got worse..... but I'm in no rush to sort as it's still passing mot's and I know I'll be looking think...

Mate stuck one in his mk1 good few years ago, I've been round track in it, it's alright but for the effort not worth it n/a imo. His was about 225bhp iirc so modest increase on stock but doesn't feel any quicker than my mk1 with the 210bhp f4r in it

Up to Mick's today to fit new aux pulley as the old one has seen better days. They're seems to be some reports of these failing now as they're getting older so to be it's a no brainer to swap out for piece of mind. Misfire reared it's head again so plugged it in and cleared some codes for...

Yeah there is a repair loom and newer blue connector sensor too which I've just ordered for my car, but I diagnosed a similar issue by just swapping on a known working sensor to prove.

Crank position sensor

Misfire cured, was the crank position sensor so fitted a used spare for now. Ordered new blue style genuine one with the repair loom too though so will fit that when it arrives

Fabric painted the flocked dash top as it was looking tired. Still patchy any needs doing again properly really but looks less terrible now. Reorganised the wiring a little too, just made it all a little bit neater. And now annoyingly it's developed a misfire so will be chasing that out...

Quick bath as sat unloved and unused for month or so whilst the mk1 track car has been in favour. But lent the RB to my sister again as her shitty seat gave up, so odyssey in daily use for a week or two! Such a lovely smooth drive this car now, absolute pleasure to cruise about in.

Nothing on the market for them, I run a modified mk2 whiteline with custom brackets that a mate made up for me years ago but not entirely convinced it does anything as the torsion style rear I think doesn't compliment the whiteline. Jury still out
