    It wants rechecked imo chap to be sure, they're very finicky the belt replacement jobs on these engines and easy to get wrong

    How often do you change your gearbox oil?

    Diff float will cause excess heat which will lead to the oil changing colour and darkening so that was probably the issue. The welded clip will do nothing to sort the play in the diff and fact it popped again and took the welds with it means those diff bearings are proper fucked

    Concentrate on the house move matey, the car will work, it's basically done. I think a diffuser may sway my opinion on the rear end aswell so I vote do it! And get those wheels sorted, disgraceful ??

    yeah he's top bloke, has been in the Renault scene for years, its just his mk2 rep that's on the up and up now.# As said the map on my track one is cracking and peak power for a stock internally engine is mega :-) @Rbdezlee your car does look lovely too, more motivation for me to sort my shed out

    AI the SMS RS2 Inlet makes huge difference, give up a little peak torque for peak power but works well. Not sure I'd bother on a road car though. My track car runs 212bhp/159lbft on the RS2 @Rbdezlee my RB belts were done by Mick at Diamond and it ran 170bhp/147lbft at Surry rolling road on...
