I am thinking of building it a home but tbh I just want it back on the road.
Cheers Chip-mk1 red one is a decent little tool for the job, I don't love it like the turbo but it's thoroughly excellent at what I built it for :)
........and gave the old girl a quick wash. cant wait to get her back on the road :)
looking bit neglected inside, someones moved in!
washed
drive reorganised
Well, fixed the driveshaft (cheers AndyRG) and went to Cadwell on Saturday.
Rainy start, sliding all over on the RSR's but after sorting the misting issues got a reasonable morning session in the damp done. Then just before lunch the track began to dry so on went the slicks.
Afternoon was...
nightmare job on the car, i usually do it with frame off (its always fallen nicely like that, car in bits proper :) ) but tbh you should be able to mole grip the side of the clamp and clamp it into pretty much the right location. if your struggling that much there must be something else amiss...
agreed, I think they are god awful looking things, amazing how just changing the wheels and giving it a different colour ruins the car...and don't get me started on that interior
welcome

however if the rubber parts of the mounts are worn (not just that engine mount, but any of them) could be causing the issue. although usually you'll feel that through the whole car, not just the pedal so...
think there are 10 odd clios booked up yeah for this weekend, should be a giggle (around 7 meganes too and my personal favourite.........a reliant kitten!)
I know man I've done it several times and one wet evening session that began dry so I went into a lap on full slicks as it started smashing down. full slicks are okay when its damp if you keep heat in them but that was like noah's flood so rest of the lap before I could pull into the pits and...
as above, the best thing you can do is take it on track as it is stock standard and firstly see if you enjoy track (no for everyone, even people who think they'd love it don't necessarily do so) and secondly as soon as you get the hang of it you'll instantly begin to notice the areas where the...
wasn't so much at you rather than at my attempts to explain being a bit convoluted :)
usually find parts finders on reg aren't great at the little differences like that, knowledge is power though so good call coming to the forums and hope you get sorted :)
yes as you say, its the centre section on the early ones that's longer as the cat is shorter. for yours with the 2 lambdas you need the short centre section as your cat is longer, rofl!
