as above, the cost is the prep, not the paint. decent prep (no buckets of filler) costs a lot as it take a lot of time I paid 3.2k for my respray a few years back but that was full hit in and out and some welding, including a new roof skin fitting.

correct, no seperate tps and no iscv as such either. as you say the throttle itself modulates to give a stable idle (also that's how the cruise control works)

mmm, seems to be about the only thing available, they do a 8.4kw one as well but its a beast at 3kg may have to get a nosey at your at some point mate, noise isn't an issue cars loud as hell anyway, just effectiveness
