Will I get any benefit from fitting the large port Ph1?
Going ITBs with 421 and my PMS manifold.
Only asking as I’ve got it sitting here doing nothing and the engines coming out.
I had the immobiliser issues and brought the Gen90, plugged it in and it started right up.
Thought I’d mention it incase you decide to save some cash as I was looking at custom loom etc before taking the chance with the Gen90
Yeah was, you was going up the hill on dunchurch road with the speed camera on.
I was driving the other way in my Leon K1.

As the weather is meant to be nice this week I’ve pushed the CUP out the garage to try and make some progress on it and organising the garage.
Also made a start on removing the seat and cage, as some times you need to take a back wards step to go forward :tongueclosed:

Also ordered some VHT paint and brought a new expansion bottle from work.

I did actually jack mine up via the subframe using a big rubber block to take some of the stress when I drained my coolant as I have a narrow garage now.
It worked but I only jacked it up as high as needed rather than all the way up to put stands under...
Had poke around the engine today and found a an oil leak at the back of the head.
Manifold studs are wet in oil, fresh oil sitting on the manifold flange and the back of the block is wet too.
Probably will orders gasket set and change the top end for peace of mind, feel another order from...
I’m sure Nick a puremotorsport could help you or put you in touch with someone directly at DTA to make one, you may have to put some work in working out lengths etc.

As some may have guess the PMS ITB kit was amongst the parcels :cool: fitted with 330cc injectors and the throttle cable conversion kit.
CatCams also made it in 421 flavour
And the posh PMS radiator, been drowling over these for...
Coolant hoses and oil cooler lines removed quickly today. Need to remove the cooler and make new brackets and lines when the engine is back in and the new rad fitted.
