I would imagine the kill switch would be mounted on the negative side.
If anything happened on the positive side, it could create a short to ground which isn't ideal.
Generally, heavy cut polishes don't refine down very well. So in direct sunlight you'd see a ghosting/haze around the lightsource, rather than a crisp light.

Yeah a mate of mine had some work done there and said they're very good.
