you have to watch those b*stards and thier vans as well,
they have a dark blue peugeot van (on an x plate i think)
which sits in the lay bys on the way in,
it has a tripod mounted camera in front of it, but not so that you can see it on approach (it is that close to the van)
it does not...
Lmao , carlos
what p*eces of sh*t those cars are wouldnt like to be behind them in case a bit of that cr*ppy kit fell off,
the sunstrip should read motors-sh*t
any way why does he need an intake for the cold air its not like its going to set the world on fire.
If they wanted to improve...
i had a play with one in my 16v down some lanes and it would not leave me, both of us 3 up had it down a dual carriage way,
it was close they were one car length in front but i got scared (wuss) other wise i would have kept on.
they were very cocky about it since it was almost new and they...
its £25 per year to hold it on retention, but they dont tell you when it s up .
you get your old one back aswell when you take the private one off
you just have to ask for the original one, however if the old one is one some one wants, then you may not be able to get it back but normally...
carlos the fiesta looks mint,
moondust is proper rare colour, i looked at a k reg one in moondust
but it wernt in the best condtion (lots of rust on the bulkhead below the screen rubber, the floor leaked+ other bits wrong with it) and they wanted top dollar for it !
then i saw the light...
the reg A172CUP is on the dvla website, it sold for a grand at their last auction !
quite a good price really considering there are other number plates out there which arent as good but are up for more money.
i still like the 1.2 dynamique (spelling) which is a y reg with clio cup in the back window, and a sport badge,
for those who havent seen it its monaco blue,
so its totally the wrong colur blue
it has night rider strobes in the grille now ,
what a piece of sh*t
(and if it belongs...
a fiesta zetec s is below group 10 (i think its some thing like 8)
but they arent that quick, as the power delivery never seems to come.
i think a vtr is a better bet, or a new clio.
i have to agree as well, most of the mags are getting sh!t, and i feel the cars appear to be of a lesser quality, (dont get me wrong there are some nice examples out there but there appear to be more sheds)
i appreciate that people are after one offs and trying new ideas, but in most cases...
it depends on which xr2i it is, from g reg they are 1.6 cvh, and up to early j reg,
a late j reg on wards is an 1800 which i think is a zetec lump, the 1800 is slower than the 1600, and its a 16v where as the 1600 is only 8 valve.
the times do not vary by much though, but a 1600 is high 8...
I was insured with them as well, before i got my 16v all i had to do was put in writing what id done to it (wheels etc) but no engine mods, and they said it wouldnt change and i never got stung.
they wanted a lot to insure a 16v though as i was 21, so i left them.
The thing is that only those who have half an idea about cars will know what engine is in a 1.8 16v as it does nt say it, they probably think its a 1200 like their nova.
still those light up washer jets do give an extra 50 bhp so watch out guys !
ha ha
the charade was a red J reg with 3 or 4 people in it,i couldnt count them as i was watching the road.
i asked one of blokes i was with how fast they are and he said that they are quite quick to 60 but i would do it on top end, i never got to see once i d left it as i sh*t my self
the clio...
On my way back from south end last nite 3 up in my standard 1.8 16v, following a phase 1 white clio with wheels etc, not a 16v or any thing,
get to national and i leave it, a bloke on a moped sticks to my bumper and then this charade turbo sticks to my bumper so i pull into the left lane and...
I agree the 106 rallye is bloody fast since it ways about as much as an empty crisp packet, they are the nuts but very sparce,
i have been in both the phase 1 and 2 and the gti and there doesnt seem to be much difference, and they stick to the road like sh*t to a blanket.
thanks for your help, now i know which ones you mean,
do they have a spinning collar around the top (above the thread) ?
as my wheel nuts have,
thanks cat171
I have the same problem, it does not even seem to get warm only for a few secs when i shut the vents and then open them.
the blower motor went, so i replaced it and then the heating disappeared !!
ive flushed it and bled it as well and its had a new thermostat cos i thought it might be...
I always use the kids spaces, may seem greedy now but one day ill use them for real so i may as well get in the practise !
i was in southend last sat night and the stupid bird next to me hit the door wiv her f*cking saxo while we were in it, got straight out 2 have a look, but it was fine...
whoa !
never seen black leather before,
mines got grey, the only problems are that its cold in winter and your back sweats in the summer,
still at least it looks phat !
I managed to talk my mate out of it but only when we got there,
he lost his £100 deposit and the bloke wanted payment for the "work" he had done (i dont know what) which cost an extra £50
so he has sp*nked out £150 with nothing to show,
the main reason was that the bloke "could not...
its supposed to be set up on a rolling road, which is why is costs so much apparently
he has been told that is not a piggy back one
my mate took it there yesterday and he was there ages with it, before he was told he would need the regulator
i asked my mate about the graph and he said the...
